Camino (formerly known as Angel) is a Learning Management System that has been used at Santa Clara since 2003. The Camino Suite of teaching and learning tools enables efficient and effective development, delivery and management of courses, course content and learning outcomes. Engaging communication and collaboration capabilities enhance instruction to deliver leading edge teaching and learning. Faculty can use online drop boxes to receive and grade uploaded assignments; post documents online, establish and monitor discussion boards and chat; create group space for discussions or for collaboration on projects; administer surveys or quizzes; send and receive course email; build a grade book; and more.
