In its annual ranking, “America’s Best Colleges 2013,” U.S. News & World Report ranked SCU second overall among master’s universities in the West. At 96 percent, SCU has the highest freshman retention rate of all master’s universities. Santa Clara’s average undergraduate graduation rate, 86 percent, was the third highest rate of the 625 master’s universities across the country.

The Alumni Factor ranked Santa Clara University 43rd nationally in a new college ranking service. Unlike other rankings, colleges and universities are judged on a survey of 42,000 alumni from 177 schools across the country.

Santa Clara University is ranked among the top 75 of America’s Best Colleges in a list just released by Forbes magazine. SCU is ranked No. 72, dramatically climbing the charts from 318 in 2008.
