    Bill O’Neill, S.J. (JST) wrote a book review of Justice in Love for Theological Studies. 

  •  Tom Plante

     Tom Plante (Counseling Psychology) was quoted in the National Catholic Reporter about the release of clergy sex abuse documents in the L.A. Archdiocese. He was also quoted in the San Jose Mercury News and two other outlets about women’s self-esteem affecting how they accept compliments, and wrote two blogs for Psychology Today.

  •  Hersh Shefrin

     Hersh Shefrin (Finance) was quoted in a Forbes story that  also ran in Business Insider, the Fiscal Times, Kazinform, and others,  about how to banish money mistakes that may be genetic. The piece stemmed from his work from Chase Blueprint called “Born to Spend? How Nature and Nurture Impact Spending and Borrowing Habits.”

  •  Tom Reese, S.J.

     Tom Reese, S.J. (Markkula) was quoted in at least six publications about the Pope’s comments about not judging gay priests and other topics.

  •  Meir Statman

    Meir Statman’s  (Finance) ideas for “mandatory savings” were discussed in a Bloomberg Businessweek story also carried in the San Francisco Chronicle.  

  •  Chad Eschman, Scotty Arnold, Lauren Baines

     Alumni Chad Eschman, Scotty Arnold, Lauren Baines, Devin Bertsch and Matthew Johns were featured in a San Jose Mercury News column about a play they wrote after meeting as students at SCU. The play will now be performed off Broadway.

  •  George Mohler

    George Mohler’s (Mathematics) PredPol predictive policing software was mentioned in Virtual Strategy Magazine. 

  •  Jerry Uelmen

    Jerry Uelmen (law) spoke to KCBS radio about sentencing guidelines. 

  •  Thomas Cattoi

     Thomas Cattoi (JST) wrote  a book review in Theological Studies of Contextual Theology for the 21st Century.
