  •  Nick Ladany

    Nick Ladany (Education and Counseling Psychology) discussed sexual assault prevention  in K-12 education with ABC and with NBC Bay Area, as part of a story about a high-profile sexual assault case in the South Bay. Terri Griffith (Management) also talked to NBC about the value of Twitter Hashtags to fight the problem. 

  •  Steve Johnson

    Steve Johnson (Markkula Center) was interviewed for an article on schools adding self-control skills to their curriculum. The story ran in the Washington Post and several other outlets. 

  •  Diana Gibson

    Diana Gibson (Religious Studies) co-wrote an op-ed on the immorality of torture, which ran in the San Jose Mercury News. 

  •  Lisa Kloppenberg

    News of the appointment of Lisa Kloppenberg (Law) as the new law school dean was carried in several papers affiliated with the San Jose Mercury News, as well as the Silicon Valley Business Journal, JDJournal blog,  the National Law Journal, KLIV and KCBS radio. 

  •  Dale Achabal

    Dale Achabal (RMI) was quoted in a San Jose Mercury News story about Ron Johnson's ouster from JCPenney. 

  •  Women of Interest 2013

     Alumnae Renu Bhatia, Colleen Blake, Mary Beth Riley, and Julie A. Brook; law professor Colleen Chien; and social media assistant director Stephanie  Bravo were each listed among the Women Of Influence 2013 in the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

  •  Colleen Chien

    Congressional testimony by Colleen Chien (Law) on "patent trolls" was reported by Reuters, Computerworld, PCWorld and others. 

  •  Frank Farris

    Frank Farris (Mathematics) was featured in two stories in Scientific American for his talk on the mathematics of the fabric design website Spoonflower. 

  •  Francisco Jimenez

     A memoir of short stories, written by  Francisco Jimenez (Modern Languages and Literatures), is being featured in a special reading series by the Solano County Library system and was covered in the Vallejo Times Herald and eight other papers.

  •  Laura Lee Norris

    The law school's new Entrepreneurs' Law Clinic and director Laura Lee Norris were  featured on KCBS radio, FindLaw, and the Silicon Valley Business Journal.
