How to get started

Marketing consultations
Donohoe Alumni House

If you are interested in evaluating your current marketing strategies, call OMC to schedule time with our marketing professionals. We can help you with long- or short-term plans; e.g., determining your key messages, developing new materials, or providing a plan to continue regular evaluation and improvement, depending on your specific needs.

Contact Margaret Avritt, marketing director, to begin a consultation.

Connecting with local and national media outlets
Internal communication

If you are interested in increasing attendance or awareness for a specific event, OMC's media relations staff can help write press releases, reach calendar listings in local publications, pitch stories to reporters, and raise interest within the University community. Media Relations and OMC are also responsible for the coordination of SCU's internal online newsletter, fyi. They can also help create a long-term plan to increase your chances of good coverage or identify media opportunities you may have overlooked.
