Santa Clara University

Funded by the Office for Multicultural Learning through a grant from Google with support from the Council on Inclusive Excellence, Santa Clara University will host (De)constructing Diversity in the Bay Area, a diversity leadership conference with San Jose State University, Stanford University and De Anza College on Saturday, April 30th, 2011.  The conference is designed to bring together student affairs professionals, faculty, students, activists and community members.

(De)constructing Diversity in the Bay Area speaks to understanding, discussing and learning about diversity through the construction and deconstruction of what diversity means to us, our local communities and our institutions.  The conference hopes to facilitate conversations and engage about social differences that foreground concern with equity, community building, and institutional learning.
