Housing for Orientation
All students attending Summer Orientation, including students planning to live off-campus in the fall, are required to stay in the residence halls while at Summer Orientation. This is an opportunity for you to experience Santa Clara's residential life and meet other new students. Because Summer Orientation is an important academic and social experience, full student participation is needed. Students are not permitted to leave campus at any time during the two-day session.
Extended Student Lodging
We understand the challenge in making travel plans for Summer Orientation. Students with special circumstances may request to arrive one day early or stay one day later for their Summer Orientation session. If you need extended housing, please contact us by June 14th at email@example.com and include your name, student ID number, cell phone number, and flight information. We will contact you after you submit your request to let you know if it has been approved. Any requests received after June 14th will not be considered for early arrival or late stay.
We are unable to accommodate parents in on-campus lodging during orientation. To assist parents with their accommodations, please view our list of hotels located close to campus. We recommend that you contact a hotel at least four weeks in advance.
