What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
My favorite Art class has been Sculpture because I got to work with building materials to create a 5 foot piece of art. I learned how to use a plasma cutter, welder, and other major tools! I think that I will also really like my Intro to International Relations class. It is a class that I am currently taking in the Spring Quarter and so far it has challenged my knowledge of the world and how we get along. I think it will really help to develop my opinions and shape my beliefs.
What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
My favorite club is Wonderfully Made because the woman envolved are amazing and so supportive. It is nice to have a Christian community around me. My favorite thing to do on campus is to explore. We have a really cool campus and surrounding area. I love to explore and see what I can find. Whether it is figuring out public transportation to get to Valley Fair or San Francisco it is all fun. Or just going into buildings on campus that I have never been in and opening new doors.
What advice would you give to the Class of 2012?
Take advantage of the school! Explore what is has to offer. The Amazing library or beautiful landscape. Going off campus and figuring out the world around you. Learning about all of the resources the school has. You can’t learn anything or find anything if you sit in your room all day, so explore and take advantage of the school.
Why do you love SCU?
I love SCU because it is my new home. The place I eat, sleep, and learn. College is a time for changing and discovering who you are, what you enjoy, and what you want to do with your life. I love SCU because it is where I will figure all this out! And along the way I plan on making many lifelong friends!
