What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
My favorite class at SCU so far was Practical Theology. I enjoyed that class very much because I am a devout Christian and enjoyed how teachings in the Bible can be applied to everyday life. I also was able to appreciate and recognize the different methods that speakers use to teach about God.
What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
My favorite activity at SCU is CORE Christian Fellowship. I enjoy the fellowship of other Christians, the CORE retreats, and the activities and events throughout the year.
What advice would you give to the Class of 2012?
Although it may be tough, don’t get stressed too out about anything. Relax! Take time to sit back and enjoy the college experience because it doesn’t last long. Also, make as many friends as you can and get involved with the community. The friendships you make at Santa Clara will last a lifetime.
Why do you love SCU?
I love SCU because it gives me an “at home” feel even though I am many miles away. I truly love the Santa Clara student body as well. The average SCU student is extremely friendly and very approachable. Even though I didn’t know anyone coming to Santa Clara I was easily able to make friends and participate in the community because of the friendly environment. I wouldn’t change my experience at SCU for anything.
