What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
My favorite class is an upper division Environmental studies class. I am very passionate about the environment so learning about US policies and how they affect our environment intrigues me.
What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
My favorite activity to do at SCU is just socialize. I love meeting new people through friends, activities, and other organizations that I am involved in. I also love to try new things because Santa Clara has so much to offer and events going on all the time.
What advice would you give to the Class of 2012?
To try new things. Don’t be afraid to go outside our comfort zone. Try going on an Immersion trip, or taking on a leadership position in a club, or even starting your own. The sky is the limit! Just try to get involved in every way you can.
Why do you love SCU?
Why not? I guess the biggest reason would be the community. The common goal of the school is to educate their students not just academically but morally. The community really feels as if they are family. They are all so friendly, kind, welcoming, and giving. Here at Santa Clara I want to reach out and help others. Everyone I come across inspires me to do more and give back to the community. It is just a great environment to be around.
