What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
It’s a tie between MECH 10 (Computer Aided Design) with Professor Drew and MECH 11 (Materials and Manufacturing Processes) with Professor Wright. Both classes taught skills necessary to work in the engineering field, along with having awesome hands on labs. The labs involved designing and drawing mechanical parts using CAD software and manufacturing parts in the machine shop, respectively.
What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
Late night quests for food, hanging out in the dorms, being spontaneous, going on road trips, slip ’n slides in the Campisi quad, and most importantly, trying new things.
What advice would you give to the Class of 2012?
Be open minded. If someone invites you to go somewhere or do something, don’t say no. Try to get involved in any way you can whether it be joining a club or attending SCU events. Go out, meet new people and have a good time, but try to work some time into your schedule to study too.
Why do you love SCU?
The weather is awesome, the food is great, the campus is beautiful, and the people are all cool. It feels like you’re on vacation year round.
