What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
Surprisingly, I’ve enjoyed the religion courses the most so far. Though I’m not distinctly religious these courses are eye opening, even with a non religious background.
What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
When it’s a nice day nothing beats sitting out on the lawn enjoying the weather, pretending to do homework or playing sports on the lawn. If it’s not sunny out, bringing friends to the fitness center for basketball is always fun.
What advice would you give to the Class of 2013?
I’d recommend taking classes outside of one’s comfort zone. This doesn’t only help with intellectual growth but it’s a good way to meet people who you normally wouldn’t. Oh, and don’t use trays in Benson, I don’t know anyone who uses trays.
Why do you love SCU?
I’ve been extremely happy with my choice to attend SCU. It’s the perfect size, you see people you know, but it’s not repetitive. Classes are tiny as well, leading to actual teacher student relationships.
