What has been your favorite class at SCU and why?
My favorite class at SCU has been my Ancient Peoples and Lost Civilizations class with professor Timothy King. Professor King is very knowledgeable and has a passion for teaching. He presents his students with incredible facts about a number of very interesting topics which made it easy to attend his classes every week.

What is your favorite activity to do at SCU?
My favorite activity to do at SCU is to go swimming at the Sullivan Aquatic Center.

What advice would you give to the Class of 2013?
The advice I would give to the Class of 2013 is don’t allow yourself to fall behind Fall Quarter. Many students will come into their freshmen year not used to the quarter system and before they know it, it’s time for midterm exams. Stay on track and keep up with the work in all your classes so when midterms come around you will be prepared. If you do this, finals won’t be as stressful and you will have an easier time transitioning into Winter Quarter.

Why do you love SCU?
I love SCU because of the variety of students who attend this university. This year I have met people from all over the country, which has opened my mind to the rest of the student body. It’s through these interactions that I’ve been able to find my niche here on campus and form a group of friends that will last me a lifetime.
