Welcome to Santa Clara University! We are so excited to have you as part of our community of scholars. While you have already attended classes at another institution, there is much for you to learn to make a smooth transition into the community here at Santa Clara University.

Once you submit your enrollment confirmation and fee, you will be able to make your reservation for Transfer Orientation.  You should make your reservation no later than June 15, 2012 by logging onto ecampus (www.scu.edu/ecampus) with your username and password provided by the Undergraduate Admission Office.  A confirmation notice and additional information about these programs will be sent to you upon receipt of your reservation.  If you need to make changes to your Orientation reservation, simply log into your ecampus account and click on the Orientation reservation link.

Transfer Orientation

All transfer students are required to attend Transfer Orientation on Monday, July 30, 2012.  At orientation you will register for fall quarter classes, learn about our academic and campus programs, meet fellow students, and find out how you can get involved with the Santa Clara community. Transfer Orientation will begin at 8 a.m. and will end by 5 p.m.  A more complete schedule will be posted on this site in early July.

All students are charged a one-time $130 program fee, which covers the costs of both Transfer Orientation and Welcome Weekend. This fee covers meals, materials, publications, activities, and administrative costs. The charge will be made to your student account shortly after orientation.

Transfer Students that will be living on-campus will be permitted to move into their residence hall in September. More information regarding your move-in will be available to you throughout the summer. Transfer Parent Orientation

Parents are encouraged, but not required, to attend Parent Orientation on Monday, July 30, 2012. Parent Orientation introduces parents to the values, goals, and practices of Santa Clara University. The program will allow parents to learn more about the academic, social, and spiritual dimensions of a Santa Clara education. Although students and parents attend orientation together, a majority of sessions are conducted separately. Parent Orientation will begin at 8:00am and will end by 5:00pm. A sample schedule is posted at the top of this page.  The cost per person to attend Parent Orientation is $50 and will need to be paid upon registration.

Welcome Weekend  

Transfer students and their families are encouraged to attend Welcome Weekend.  More specific information will be available online in the summer and will be mailed to you in mid-August.
