New Student Orientation

Transfer Students

We are excited to have you as part of our community of scholars. While you have already attended classes at another institution, there is much for you to learn to make a smooth transition into our community here at SCU.

Online Winter Transfer and Freshmen Student Orientation

All winter term transfer and freshmen students are required to complete an online Orientation by Friday, December 5, 2014. After you accept your enrollment at Santa Clara, you will be contacted by the Office of New Student Programs with further instruction about how to complete the online requirements.  Online orientation will prepare you to register for classes, learn about our academic and campus programs, and find out how you can get involved with the Santa Clara community.

Online Orientation Timeline:

December 5, 2014: Deadline to complete Online Orientation. All Online Orientation components can be found below.
December 8- December 17, 2014: Register for your advising appointment by contacting the Drahmann Academic Advising and Learning Center at 408-554-4318. A registration hold will be placed on your account until you complete your advising appointment.
December 11- December 19, 2014: Advising Appointments.
December 22-23, 2014: Class registration opens on eCampus. 

Online Orientation Review:

All Online Orientation pieces can be found below. To complete the program, please watch the Core Curriculum video and read the supporting documents. Once you have finished reading all the supporting documents, complete the Online Orientation Assessment. You will be unable to register for classes until you have completed the assessment.

Step 3: Please complete the Online Orientation Assessment here.
