Travel Information
Santa Clara University is located in the Silicon Valley, just minutes from the San Jose Airport and approximately 45 minutes from the San Francisco International Airport and Oakland Airport. Most airlines, including Alaska, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, Southwest, TWA, and United, fly directly to San Jose International Airport. If you do not wish to rent a car, you can take a taxicab to campus ($15-20) or use the Santa Clara Valley Transit Route 10 shuttle (free). Route 10 will take you from the San Jose airport to the Santa Clara Caltrain Station which is located across the street from the main entrance of campus. Super Shuttle provides shuttle service from San Francisco International Airport and Oakland International Airport. For more information: http://www.supershuttle.com/.
Public transportation between San Francisco International Airport and the Santa Clara Caltrain Station is also available by taking BART from SFO and transferring to the Caltrain rail system at the Millbrae Station. For more information: www.bart.gov or www.caltrain.com.
