Fr. Engh,
I am excited to see you come to Santa Clara. As a sociology graduate from 1979, I look forward to meeting you next fall during our 30 year reunion. Our class includes Governor Napolitano of Arizona and many other wonderful citizens. We are quite an accomplished bunch in our own personal ways.
My children are approaching college age, so I think back to my wonderful years with Dr. Krassowski in O'Connor. Five years ago when I attended my 25th reunion, I was however disappointed to see the discrepancies in facilities. O'Connor looked like it did in 1979! Old carpet, out dated desks, etc. I do hope when I come this time, that equity will be found not just in athletics, but between departments as well.
The campus is beautiful and has continue to evolve into thriving community of learning and spiritual direction. Best of luck to you. I look forward to you saying mass at the Mission.
