Adelene Gallego Ramos is a 2011 MBA graduate from Santa Clara University's Leavey School of Business with concentrations in Marketing Management and Leading People and Organizations. She is passionate about helping underserved communities through social entrepreneurship and does this through the Center's Social Benefit programs.

She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video from U.C. Santa Cruz. Actively involved in SCU's Women in Business Network and the MBA community, she has served as Chair for the 9th Annual Women in Business Conference and Coordinator for the Silicon Valley Boomer Venture Summit and Business Plan Competition since 2009.

 

Adelene has served as President of Santa Clara University's MBA Women in Business network (2010-2011), Vice President of Marketing Communications for the WIB network (2009-2010), and has been a Team Leader for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure since 2004. With more than 11 years experience in marketing communications and project management, she has held previous positions as a Marketing Coordinator, Online Communications Coordinator, and a Digital Multimedia Designer. Possessing a creative and technical background, Adelene's interests include new technologies, social entrepreneurship, social media, and independent filmmaking. In her free time, Adelene enjoys producing documentary films and multimedia projects.
