Why do you want to serve as an International Ambassador?
Going abroad was the best thing I've ever done in my entire life, and being International Ambassador would allow me help out those who may have any questions or need guidance regarding this experience. Going abroad can be scary, but I want to be there as a resource to help people quell their fears and become better educated about the study abroad experience
Deciding factor for studying abroad?
I knew I always wanted to study abroad even when I was in high school. I've visited London a couple times before going, and I loved the city and could see myself studying abroad there. I've always been fascinated with British culture and especially the accent. It was also a plus that the national language was English.
Defining Moment Abroad?
One of the defining moments of my study abroad experience is probably going on my first trip alone to Italy and planning it myself with my two other friends. It truly showed me what kind of a person and traveler I really am. It truly pushed my limits, and I feel more confident and able to fulfill certain tasks because if I survived Italy for a week, then I can do anything.
Advice to Prospective study abroad students?
I feel like if you're having hesitations about studying abroad, I would tell you to just go for it. Never again in your life will you have the opportunity to study and live in Europe this way. Just be willing to be open-minded to different points of views and adventurous with new experiences.
