Misa Mascovich

Misa Mascovich is a junior majoring in Communications, film emphasis, with a minor in International Business. Originally from Grand Junction, Colorado, Misa has found a home at Santa Clara University and looks forward to pursuing opportunities in Bay Area filmmaking. She enjoys traveling, running, attending film festivals, and skiing. In the fall of 2011, Misa studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she also interned with the social financing firm, Impact Economy. Working for Impact Economy opened her eyes to the innovative ways companies and people are making a difference at the ground level. This fellowship appealed to her because the fellowship and the social entrepreneurs who are a part of it are making proactive, sustainable changes in the world. Through the fellowship, she hopes to combine her interest in film with social entrepreneurship to help make tangible, social changes. She continues to work on film projects in the pursuit to have a creative outlet, promote issues, and engage the public.
