Legacies is the campus-wide diversity theme for academic years 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Legacies signifies what we inherit and what we leave behind. It lends itself to exploring the legacies of past oppression, struggle and successes while asking us to consider what we will choose to create and leave behind for future generations. The first campus-wide theme, Identity: Individuality, Community, Humanity, was launched in Winter Quarter 2008 and continued during Winter Quarters 2009 and 2010.
