Santa Clara has contracted with CARE.com to provide elder care planning and management. As part of its service, Care.com provides one-on-one consultations to initiate the caregiving planning process; comprehensive written care plans, including research on provider options; access to a national credentialed provider network; rate negotiation to ensure best pricing; and assistance in identifying backup care. Access to Care.com is free for all faculty and staff. Visit www.care.com/group/scu to register. Then, click on “Senior Care Counseling” on the “Adults and Seniors” tab. Council on Aging Silicon Valley (COASV)Santa Clara is pleased to announce a partnership with the Council on Aging Silicon Valley (COA) to offer a program designed for baby boomers, older adults, and family caregivers. COA’s Aging Education and Preparation (AEP) program includes two components: educational workshops and private consultation with aging experts.
