  •  Open House, Office for Diversity and Inclusion

    Friday, Jan. 24, 2014

    The Office for Diversity and Inclusion will host its first open house on Friday, 1/24/14, from 4 to 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Walsh Administration Building. Please join us to welcome Dr. Jesse Bernal as the new Director for the Office for Diversity and Inclusion and Jade Agua as the Program Director for the Office for Multicultural Learning.

    What: Professor Aldo Billingslea will lead a discussion about the Zimmerman verdict.  Speakers will include attorney Christopher Boscia (Santa Clara County) and Professor Margaret Russell (Santa Clara University School of Law).

  •  50th anniversary of “The March on Washington”

    Date: Monday, 8/26/13, at 6 p.m.
    Location: Palo Alto City Hall
    What: The Office for Diversity and Inclusion, in partnership with Stanford’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Center, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of “The March on Washington” with a performance of the speeches and songs offered half a century ago. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the celebration will culminate with the reading of the Reverend Doctor King’s “I Have a Dream” speech.
