Colleen Hudgens organized and implemented administrative services and managed corporate resources while working as a public relations account executive, a communications consultant to private clients, the communication director for a publicly-held company, and the communication director for a large public employee union. Prior to working in the communication field, she held several administrative positions in private universities, and she was a public school teacher in Chicago and Boston. She also served as a community representative to the Office for Children of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
She holds a bachelor's degree in history and a master's degree in teaching, both from the University of Chicago. She serves as a board member for the Public Interest and Social Justice Law Endowment at the Santa Clara University School of Law.
Claire Shaw is an Administrative Associate in the Provost's Office where she supports the Finance and Administration staff. She received both her B.A. in History and her M.A. in Education Administration with an emphasis in Higher Education from Santa Clara University.
During the 2014-15 academic year, Claire is serving as the President of the University's Staff Senate.
