Dr. Jeff Zorn attended Boston Latin School , Dartmouth College (B.A. 1967). Cambridge University , Harvard University (M.A.T. 1971), and Stanford University (Ph.D. 1980). He has taught at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama (1968-1974) and Santa Clara University (1974-present). Dr. Zorn has published over 80 articles on topics ranging from composition instruction and the ethics of standardized testing to whether public money should be spent on building the SF 49ers a new stadium (correct answer: No). He lives in San Francisco with his wife Ann, his mother-in-law Sophie, two teenage children (Sam and Sarah), and a cat (Shayna Punim Zorn). He is very much a traditional English teacher but dresses like a hippie.
