Personal Bio

Hi! My name is Mary Northey and I'm currently in my senior year at Santa Clara. Two years ago, I created a major called Individual Studies: Education Policy and Politics. It's made up of a combination of psychology, philosophy, and political science classes. I'm really interested in how different teaching methods create life-long learners, and I hope to continue to study education in graduate school.

Before I came to Santa Clara, I regarded myself as more of a reader than a writer. However, being here has helped me to develop a real appreciation for writing--and now it's definitely one of my passions. I'm excited to help you find your inner love for writing as well! Don't hesitate to stop by!
