Personal Bio

I am currently a senior English major and Urban Education minor at Santa Clara. My career goal is to become a high school English teacher. As I tutor, I am here to assist Santa Clara students in any part of the writing process that they wish to discuss with me whether that means helping them to decode a prompt, start a brainstorming chart, organize and develop their ideas, or work on their sentence structure and mechanics.

I feel that the experience of working at the HUB will continue to foster my passion for helping others and further cement my decision to teach high school English. I hope that through being passionate about the writing process, I can encourage other students to appreciate and enjoy the value of writing as much as I do. I look forward to meeting and working with some more students this year!
