SCU and Sacred Heart Parish host eighth annual Lady of Guadalupe celebrationMonday, Nov. 29, 2004Teatro Corazon of Sacred Heart Parish, along with SCU students, will perform the “Virgen de Tepeyac,” which tells the story of Juan Diego, the man to whom the Lady of Guadalupe appeared in December 1531. He brought news of her appearance to the local bishop, along with her wish that he build a church to honor her. The performance will be primarily in Spanish with some English commentary. Attendees at the event will also meet the recipient of the Juan Diego scholarship.
