Adobe Illustrator is a graphic art program used for creating print and web graphics. Although the program is complex and requires a significant amount of time to master, it is quite easy to learn the basics and create work with a professional appearance. This workshop will cover the basic tools in Illustrator to get you on your way. Please note: This workshop in taught on the MAC platform but is appropriate for PC users since Illustrator's layout is virtually similar.

This workshop covers the following basics:

• How to navigate the toolbar
• Creating text and shapes
• Working with swatches
• Using the pen tool
• Preparing your content for print or web
