You may notice that the For/About/Find links at the top of each page built with the Commonspot base template is now hidden. From user testing and site feedback, we've determined that this navigation component was not serving its intended purpose. The concept behind this was to present the for, about, and site-wide search navigation options that are established on the SCU home page within all Commonspot pages. However, most users either didn't see this compact global navigation option, or didn't interpret it as a way to navigate across all SCU sites. The coming year's Web site relaunch effort includes a redesign of navigation options for the site, including various options for presenting global navigation in Commonspot templates.
