Brandon Farmer is the Resident Director for Communitas.

You can call me Farmer though. My partner Nicole, my new DAUGHTER(!) Ella Joy, and I live in Campisi with our chocolate lab Teague. This is our fourth year at Santa Clara. I received my master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University in LA.  Although I love California, I am a Nebraskan at heart because I lived there until I was eighteen. I then went to college in Indiana. As far as things I love to do, I love to hang with my wife & daugther, watch Husker and Indianapolis Colts Football, play any type of sports (intramurals!) and do whatever else sounds intriguing to do. I love Communitas and am super excited to meet, work, teach, learn, and collaborate all year with the whole community!

Shelby McIntyre is Faculty Director in Residence.

I am a Professor of Marketing in the Leavey School of Business and have taught at Santa Clara for over 25 years. I have been in Communitas for 5 years, and am as excited about next year as ever. I graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Engineering, an MBA in Business, and a PhD in Marketing. I enjoy being out doors and particularly bicycle riding and bike excursions to hostels. Last year we had a great outing to the Monterrey Aquarium and hope to repeat that in 2009-10.  I look forward to getting to know you and hope you will stop by to chat.  Hey, I always have Oreo cookies on hand. I keep my door open much of the time and like to host food events and build a lot of community. Also, I've spent a lot of time in Australia and Mexico and speak both those languages fairly well.

Megan Bradley - GRD Bellarmine 1st floor

Hello! My name is Megan and I am so excited to be at Santa Clara! I’m starting the Masters in Counseling program this Fall.  I graduated from California State University, Chico two years ago with a degree in Psychology and a degree in Social Science.  I’ve since been working in Sonoma at a Residential Treatment Facility for troubled teenage boys.  In my free time I love being outside, especially at the beach!  I also really enjoy music, coffee and hanging out with my family and friends.  I look forward to seeing you around Campisi and Bellarmine and getting to know you all.

Amy Kennedy- RM Bellarmine 3rd floor

I am excited to be returning for my third year as the Bellarmine RM! I graduated from SCU in '06 with a BS in Applied Anthropology and a minor in Music. I spent a year in New Orleans as a Jesuit Volunteer at the Innocence Project-New Orleans and now work for the Northern California Innocence Project at the Law School. I started the evening program at Santa Clara's Law School last fall and will continue looking to all my residents to help me procrastinate reading! :o)

Galina Pappu- RM Campisi 2nd floor

Hi! I'm really excited about returning to Communitas this year.  I was raised in Santa Clara, and completed my Bachelors in communications in upstate New York at Syracuse University, where I learned how cold a winter can be and that I needed to live the rest of my life on the west coast! On the weekends you'll find me outside, playing sports, running, biking or just soaking up some sunshine. In addition to being a Resident Minister, I also work at the Law School as an Event Planner for the Center for Global Law & Policy and am currently pursuing a Masters in Higher Education. Looking forward to meeting each one of you and enjoying an amazing year together!

Lisa "Teki" Mensah - CF Campisi 1st floor long wing

Hey hey hey! I’m Lisa but everyone calls me Teki. I am a sophomore from Salt Lake City, Utah. I have not yet declared my major in the School of Arts but I am leaning towards a major in Communications and a minor in Spanish. Being from Utah, I LOVE snow and everything that involves it…snowboarding, skiing, and sledding. I like most other sports as well, especially soccer, basketball and swimming. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts, if you ever have any free time, stop by and we will make something! I also love to wander, so if you see me walking around and you are up for an adventure, please join me! Always feel free to stop by whenever, my door is always open and I am always open to visitors!

Cameron Schwab - CF Campisi 1st floor short wing

HEEY! My name is Cameron Schwab, but you can call me Cam for short (or i am a fan of nicknames, so if you can think of one..LET ME KNOW!).  I was born and raised in the good ol', rainy northwest: Portland, OR.  I am from a family of six, with three brothers.  I am going to be a sophomore this year, and my major is in Mechanical Engineering.  I love everything that has to do with the outdoors (ie. camping, swimming, hiking, climbing, biking, almost every sport except running due to a few surgeries I had on my ankle in the past few years, boating, snow/water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, tubing, etc.) I enjoy hanging with friends a lot, and am very social.  Meeting and getting to know new people is one of my hobbies, so don't be afraid to come chat with/chill with me anytime.  I am so excited to be on the Communitas staff this year, and look forward to getting to know hopefully all of you!!

Margaret Lender - CF Campisi 2nd floor long wing

Ciao! Ciao! Hello Everyone!  My name is Margaret Lender and I will be a Junior here at SCU.

This will be my third year living in Campisi, and I’m so excited to be CF and get to know ya’ll! I was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon, so I will never complain about the weather.J  I graduated from Valley Catholic High School where I kept fairly busy doing different sports, theater, and student life activities.  Currently, I am working at graduating with two majors: Anthropology and Combined Sciences.  From there I hope to go to medical school, and one day become a Medical Examiner.  I enjoy doing lots of different things, including going to/watching sports games, shopping, watching movies, baking (my chocolate chip heath bar cookies are pretty amazing), napping, community service, and oh, so much more!  I love music, and I’m sure you will hear me singing to mine all the time, so come join!  My door is always open!

Anthony Toney - CF Campisi 2nd floor short wing

Ayee Yo! I’m Anthony, I am a Junior from Hayward, California, not to far from Santa Clara. I am studying Political Science and Ethnic Studies. I enjoy writing, playing videogames, music, good conversation, and sleeping. I’ll be chillin’ in my room a lot so feel free to come by and see what’s up. I like to play my music loud, so you’ll know it’s my room : ) I can’t wait to meet you and I’m excited for this year!

Veronica Schauf - CF Campisi 3rd floor long wing

Well, hi! My name is Veronica and this will be my final at our dear old SCU. Modesto, California is the place I call home...orchards...cows...oh, how I love the country! I'm a biology major and am pursuing a career in the medical field...yeah, I just may save your life one day so be nice to me :D Most of my friends would describe me as pretty wild and crazy. For instance, sometimes I don't dot my "I"s or wait 30 minutes after I eat to go swimming; back in the day I would return videos without rewinding them; and every now and then when no one's looking I double dip my chips. When I'm not busy being all wild and crazy I enjoy singing, listening to music, playing the piano, arts and crafts, scrapbooking (ok, so that's kinda wild), playing basketball (hailing 3s and packing left and right), watching Days of Our Lives (daytime tv = so good!), and taking time to smell the roses. On campus I'm been involved with SCCAP and Salsa Clara so if you have questions about volunteering (or salsa dancing!) don't hesitate to ask! Fun fact: I'm a wanna-be hippie...minus the hallucinogens and what not :o) and I'm looking forward to a FABULOUS year with you!! Peace and love, y'all

Chase Thomet - CF Campisi 3rd floor short wing

Hey guys! I’m Chase, a sophomore here at SCU majoring in finance and marketing. I’m originally from the Northwest, Oregon to be exact, born in Portland and raised in Eugene. I love playing sports so if you want to throw around a Frisbee, shoot some hoops, or hit the courts for some tennis, let me know. Other passions include traveling, laughing, music, and being outside or in the water. Feel free to stop by my room anytime to chat or hang out or for no reason at all, I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Kristen Lee- CF Bellarmine 1st floor

It's Kristen Lee here and I am SUPER excited to be a part of Communitas for another fun-filled year! I'm from the beautiful city of Arcadia, CA, which is down in Southern California, and I am a Junior Accounting major who hopefully isn't as boring as the stereotype portrays accountants to be. I'm Co-Chair of the Chinese Student Association, which is one of the multicultural clubs housed in the Multicultural Center. I love to dance and play sports such as tennis, football, and basketball (does ping pong and foosball count too?) as well as homely things such as baking, sewing, and knitting. What a combo, right?!? So if you're ever in the mood to play outdoors or get some fresh baked goods, feel free to stop by my room, Bellarmine 109. I can't wait to meet you!!! =D

Albenis Curiel - CF Bellarmine 2nd floor

Hello everyone!!! My name is Albenis Curiel, a sophomore from Fresno, California. I am a mechanical engineer and am planning to stick around and enroll in the five-year master’s program. I love to exercise!! My freshmen year I was on the men’s rowing team. One of my favorite things about the rowing team was Frisbee Fridays! I can play frisbee all day!! I also love to dance and am currently on a Folklorico dance team. I like to cook and I invite everyone to stop by sometime to enjoy some chicken fajitas or teriyaki chicken. I look forward to a great year!!!

David Oshiro - CF Bellarmine 3rd floor

Hey all. My name is David, and I’m currently a junior here at SCU. Accounting is my major, and I also hope to major in math. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii, which explains why one of my favorite activities is hanging out at the beach. I love staying fit and I play a lot of basketball and volleyball for fun, so chances are you’ll see me around Malley a lot. I’m also learning some songs on piano, so if I’m not in my room, I just might be downstairs jamming on the keyboard. My door is always open and I love making friends, so feel free to drop by and talk anytime!
