About Us
As a member of Modern Perspectives you will have opportunities to participate in a wide variety of educational and recreational activities. In the recent past, the Modern Perspectives community council and residents organized events that included:
Learning:
- "Pizza & Politics" - community viewings of the Presidential Debates or State of the Union address on our big screen projector in the basement
- Group trips to see and discuss films or on-campus play productions
- Ted Talks: upperclassmen student leaders sharing tips, advice, and lessons learned
- RLC-Linked Programming: in-hall faculty visits, lectures, and socials
- DISCOVER groups to find and focus a sense of vocation and purpose in life

- Poker tournament (small entry fee, no stakes)
- Relay-for-Life Team
- Supply and Clothing Drives
