Orientation - Summer 2006

For five weeks during the summer and the last week before classes began in the Fall, Xavier students engaged in an orientation program, designed for them to get to know each other, to begin their college life with a critical discussion of books that they had read, and to register for classes and learn about their freshman year. The following are some photos of the six orientation sessions.

Orientation Leaders

Xavier has two Orientation Leaders, Alyssa O'Brien and Bobby Philbrook. Orientation Leaders accompany the new students during the two-day orientation period, and assist the students in many different ways.

Alyssa is a Sophomore Marketing major from Prescott, Arizona, and a member of the Xavier RLC.

Bobby is a Senior Communication/Spanish double major, from Gilroy, California, and is a member of the Loyola RLC.
