II. Satisfaction of the Casenote/Note Requirement

A student must complete and pass either a Casenote, or a Note, to become a candidate. The Casenote gives a student a prepared problem with research that the student must then analyze. The Note allows the student to select a topic and conduct preliminary research and analysis. They are graded on grammar and spelling, bluebook form, footnotes, style and organization, and analysis.

For detailed instructions and more information, please refer to the Casenote and Note information available on the SCJIL ClaraNet page. If you have questions please contact Nhi Le-Tran, Senior Comments Editor, at: uletran@scu.edu.
