Dave Rigney ’63, MBA ’73 and his wife Barbara celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Napili Bay in Maui with their daughters Pam O'Sullivan ’90, Sue Hamilton ’92, and Patti; their husbands Joe, Gerry Hamilton ’92, MBA ’03, and Tim; and eight grandchildren. Dave retired 10 years ago after 25 years with the Electric Power Research Institute, 13 years with Silicon Valley Power and PG&E and service with the U. S. Army in Vietnam.
The artwork of Tony Casper ’74 is on display at the University of Madison, Wisconsin, Health Sciences Learning Center, through Nov. 30. He writes, "My passion is to create photographs that will beckon viewers to experience their own journey to a place of inner beauty and tranquility." The Smithsonian Institution has preserved a series of Casper's garden photographs, and he has received numerous awards at art shows throughout the United States. "My formal studies in photography began at the University of Santa Clara," says Casper. "While there, I benefited from having my work critiqued by Ansel Adams."
Accounting Today, a national magazine for public accounting professionals, has recently named Kathy Ryan '78 to its 2014 Managing Partner Elite list for her innovation in staffing, technology, and strategy. Ryan co-founded RoseRyan, a Silicon Valley-based accounting and finance consulting firm, in 1993. She serves as the firm’s CEO and CFO. In 2012, the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal named Ryan one of the most influential women in Silicon Valley that year for her success in effecting change in her industry and her community.
