Shareen Young '81 writes: "My Husband, Richard and I will be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary in September. Having fun raising our 16 yr old son in Irvine, CA. Traveling the world heading up Business Development for the Aerospace company, Klune Industries, Inc."
Davide Vieira ’81 retired from IBM in 2011 after thirty years of service. Among many highlights was his stint as webmaster for the IBM Year 2000 Technical Support Center. Davide and wife Theresa (Freitas) '80 celebrated another milestone in 2011 -- their thirtieth wedding anniversary. They became sweethearts in Dale Mugler's Advanced Calculus class in 1978 and solved countless mathematics problems in O'Connor Hall's Sussman Room on their way to earning degrees in mathematics.

Peggy Donovan-Verheul '81 writes: "I am a physical therapist and reside in Hanford, Calif., with my husband, Eric, and our three children, Sarah, Meghan, and Matthew."
Diana (Sutton) Van Cleve J.D. '81 and husband Bill welcomed their eighth greatgrandchild in May 2011—another boy!
Jeanine Tucker '78, J.D. '81 is a court operations manger for the Stanislaus County Superior Court. She oversees the daily operations of several court divisions and has participated in salary negotiations for both labor and management. Tucker is also active in community service, which she has primarily been doing through the Lions Club for the past 15 years.
Jeanine D. Tucker ’78, J.D. ’81 is the new court executive officer with the Tuolumne County Superior Court. Tucker had worked for the Stanislaus County Superior Court since 1991. She most recently served as the operations manager for eight years, managing a staff of about 140 employees.
David Strong J.D. '81 writes: "I continue serving as managing partner at Branson, Brinkop Griffith & Strong in Redwood City. Last year we opened our branch office in Phoenix, Ariz., managed by fellow Santa Clara alum John Campo '88, J.D. '91. We are an insurance coverage, civil litigation, and business firm serving clients throughout California, Arizona and nationally."

Laurel B. Silver M.A. '81 has been named Vice President for Student Affairs at Prescott College in Arizona. She also serves on the regional executive committee for the National Association of Student Personnel Administration (NASPA).
In addition to serving as president of Sunwest Wild Rice and vice president of Sunwest Foods, Inc., John Sasbrook '81, MBA '83 recently released first vintages of Sierra Rose Syrah from his family vineyard.
Kirk M. Sanfilippo '81 has been serving as the Chief of Harbor Police for the San Diego Unified Port District since 2003. He and his wife, Jody, are thrilled to be retiring in January 2010 and moving to Oregon.
Kirk M. Sanfilippo '81 retired to Roseburg, Oregon, in May of 2010 with his wife, Jody. In June, 2012, he came out of retirement and was hired as the Chief of Police for the City of Sutherlin, Oregon. Kirk and Jody still reside in Douglas County, Oregon.

Sheila Pena '81 writes: "I am in the Global HR Center of Expertise at Accenture and my role is the Global Career Transitions Lead. I develop our global strategy and programs for internal and external career movement for our employees. I worked in our San Francisco office until transferring to Phoenix in 1995 and most of my career has been in HR/Talent Acquisition. I have two daugthers, Monica (28)who lives/works in NYC and Cynthia (26) who lives/works in the Bay Area."
Darryl Page '81 was named division president of international personal and business insurance at ACE Group. In this role, he will lead ACE's personal lines and small and mid-size commercial insurance operations in Asia Pacific and Japan, Latin America, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will be based in Basking Ridge, N.J.
With nearly 30 years of insurance industry experience, Page was most recently with Fireman's Fund in the U.S., where he served for four years as president of personal insurance. Prior, he spent 25 years at Allstate in several senior leadership roles, including vice president of product operations, and vice president of western market operating committee.

Catherine Nunes '81, MBA '86 lives in Los Altos, California with her husband Mike Plasterer and four daughters, Kelley (21), Rachel (18), Dana (15), and Jaclyn (13). Catherine is a partner in a consumer marketing and media agency and has spent her career leading product & company launches, advertising campaigns and brand initiatives for mobile, online and retail products ranging from consumer tech and web services to publishing, food and wine.

Kelly (Rickon) Mitchell '81 writes, "I am married with two sons, 13 and 17 years old, and live in the house in San Diego where I grew up. I was blessed to be on the 1980 and 1984 Olympic teams as a coxswain for rowing and won a silver medal in '84. My career has mostly been in sports (building the Olympic Training Center in San Diego, and development director for the San Diego Crew Classic), but now I'm working as a development officer for Point Loma Nazarene University. Is anyone playing golf on Friday? I'm on the fence."
Michael Milward J.D. ’81, a veteran California attorney with experience as a bereavement counselor, has been hired as the new chief executive for Hospice of Santa Cruz County after a nationwide search.
Milward, 57, is a graduate of the Metta Institute End of Life Care Practitioner Program and was a chaplain for Hospice of Amador and Calaveras counties, and Sutter Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice in Santa Rosa.

Mary McCurdy '81, J.D. '84 writes: "I live in Menlo Park, CA with my husband Kevin McCurdy. We have two children, Helen (22) and Brigid (19). Kevin and I have our own law firm, McCurdy & Fuller, in Menlo Park. As we are now empty nesters, we are enjoying traveling."

Matt McCormick '81 lives in Seattle, Wash., with his wife, Susan, and 2 sons, ages 10 & 6. Matt is a radiologist at Virgina Mason Medical Center. Since graduating SCU, Matt lived in Salt Lake City, UT with classmate Jerry Gray '81, attended medical school in Washington, DC where he met his wife and classmate, came back to CA for residency training, returned to DC to serve in the United States Air Force and eventually settled in Seattle. Before kids, Matt & Susan traveled extensively outside the U.S. but now have a kid-centric lifestyle with travels mostly to National Parks.

Nancy (Levandowski) Keller ’81 and Steven Keller was the first couple married at Denny's Chapel in Las Vegas on April 3. "As passionate Denny’s fans for more than 35 years, my husband and I couldn’t think of a more fun and exciting way to tie the knot than at Denny’s Vegas location in the very heart of the restaurant,” said Levandowski, director of ISU Dining for Iowa State University.

Steve L'Esperance ’81 recently celebrated 25 years with Kellogg Company in sales. He and his wife, Shawn (Stinson) ’82, now live in Castle Rock, Colo., outside of Denver, with their son Scott. Their daughter Kelly is working on her doctorate in Physical Therapy at Marquette University and son James lives and works in Manhattan.
Julie (Mack) '81 and Mark Johnson '81 live in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Their sons, Eric (2011) and Scott (2013), are currently attending SCU. Julie is a partner in a market research consulting firm and Mark is a civil engineer with CH2MHill in Portland.
Marcia Jensen J.D. ’81, Los Gatos Planning Commission Chairwoman, is running for the town council. This is Jensen's second time on the planning commission, with her most recent appointment coming in June 2008. Previously, she served on the planning commission from 1989 to 1999.
