Linus Lau ’00 has been Chair for the Music Video, Film and Television Program at Musicians Institute since December of 2012, in addition to adjunct lecturer of Film Studies at Long Beach City College. He is also the composer of the upcoming feature "Bread and Butter," starring Bobby Moynihan of Saturday Night Live.
Christina Beck Drogin ’00 and Jason Drogin ’00 welcomed daughter Mia Edie Drogin on August 29, 2012. Mia joins big brothers Will (6) and Jake (4).
Michael Clapperton MBA ’00 has been named to the board of Etairos Consulting in San Jose, Calif. He currently is the Chief Technology Officer of IT Sigma in New York City, a SaaS Workflow Management tool.
Gina Policastri ’00, J.D. ’03 is a partner at Lonich & Patton, LLP in San Jose. She is certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Family Law Specialist. She and her husband welcomed a baby girl, Bianca, in 2011. The family lives in Willow Glen.
Anna Weyher ’01 is the principal investigator and founder of the Kasanka Baboon Project, formed in 2010 for the study of a group of Kinda baboons (Papio cynocephalus kindae) in Kasanka National Park, Zambia.

Brendan O’Brien ’01 and Lauren (Russell) O’Brien ’02 welcomed their second boy Declan Charles on April 5, 2013. The family, with their oldest son Liam and dog Burger, currently live in Burlingame, Calif.
Angel Diaz ’99 and Alma Diaz Parra ’01 welcomed their first child, Eduardo Angel, on September 7, 2011. The family resides in Los Angeles.

The newlyweds also have a film coming out in the spring called Out and Around: Stories of a Not-So-Straight Journey (www.OutandAround.com).
Mark Davis '01 and Rachel Davis are delighted to announce the arrival of their third child, Clara Mariam Davis, who was born at home on Nov. 22, 2013. Best wishes to all of the SCU alumni and their families!
Kristin (Simms) Byrnes ’01, M.Div. ’05 is happy to be back in the Bay Area and teaching at Archbishop Mitty High School, after serving for two years with Volunteer Missionary Movement in San Nicolás, Nicaragua. She and her husband, Billy, welcomed their first child, William James Byrnes on October 17, 2013. He has since blessed their lives with so much joy and love that they overlook the sleepless nights. They hope to return to Nicaragua soon for a visit, to introduce their son to the many friends they left behind.
Jennifer (Cooke) Bauer ’01, MBA ’11 married Jeffrey Bauer MBA ’11 on Saturday, July 27, 2013, in Burlingame, Calif. Cindy (Barrango) Rodondi ’01 served as a bridesmaid. Many SCU undergraduates and MBA graduates were in attendance from the classes of ’01 and ’11 respectively. The happy couple lives in San Jose, Calif.
On completing three terms as Program Director at Don Bosco Renewal Centre in Bangalore, Joseph Thannickal M.A. ’02 has been granted a sabbatical year at Fordham University and JST Berkeley to complete some writing work. Following his sabbitcal, Joseph will return to India to take up another interesting assignment. Currently he is enjoying the warm humidity of NY.
Amanda Murray J.D. ’02 and Matthew Nowakowski, both of Redwood City, were wed on Sept. 21, 2013, at Murrietta’s Well Winery in Livermore.
Ellie (Taft) Morrissey ’02 and husband Sam are thrilled to welcome their daughter Sadie Elise, born May 29, 2013. The happy family lives in Pasadena, Calif. and is visited often by proud Grandpa Jim Taft ’72.
Sean Mendelson ’02, a.k.a. Teacher Sean, just finished producing his first children’s music album, Crank Out the Music. The music is vibrant and fresh with an engaging alternative vibe, a nod to Mendelson’s history of playing in rock bands.
Mendelson, a Santa Clara University graduate, composed 12 songs in just three days.

An experienced construction attorney, McAllister represents real property owners, developers and general contractors in evaluating and litigating construction defect claims, delay claims and payment disputes. Since joining the firm in 2007, he has assisted property owners in recovering more than $60 million for the repair of defective construction.
Active within his industry, McAllister is the current chair of the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Real Estate Executive Committee and sits on the Civil Practice Committee. He is also an active member of the California Apartment Association’s Tri-County Division and the Apartment Owners Association of California. McAllister earned his J.D. from the University of Arizona, James Rogers College of Law (2007) and his B.A. from Santa Clara University (2002).
Sheri Lara ’99 and Ronald Lalangan were married at Mission Santa Clara on August 17. The happy couple were surrounded by their family and friends, including fellow Bronco Susan Lalangan Vaughan who served as a bridesmaid.
Courtney (Chatalas) Gerlich ’02 and husband Ira Gerlich - happily welcomed their first child, Maxwell Chatalas Gerlich, on Oct. 25, 2013. The family lives in Seattle, Wash.
Christine Donovan J.D. ’02, a senior staff attorney for the Solano County Superior Court, has been appointed the Judicial Council's Family and Juvenile Law Advisory Committee. Donovan, who has worked for Solano County Superior Court since 2007, is a Certified Family Law Specialist through the State Bar of California, Board of Legal Specialization and has served as a faculty member for the Center for Judiciary Education and Research at the Administrative Office of the Courts.
Elia DeLuca ’02, J.D. ’06 was named a Rising Star in the Northern California Super Lawyers 2013 edition, which recognizes the top up-and-coming attorneys in the state. DeLuca practices labor and employment law in the San Francisco office of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton.
