Aneal Vallurupalli '09 married Daniella (Klopocki) Vallurupalli '09 on June 1, 2013 in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Celebrating with a traditional South Indian wedding--and other fellow Broncos in attendance--the couple is thrilled to be another successful SCU love story. The couple met at SCU during summer orientation just before their Freshman year.
Brett Riese ’09 and Lisa Hill ’09 on August 24th, 2013 in Carlsbad, Calif. The wedding party included Lisa's sister, Jennifer Hill ’11, along with Colleen Kleier ’09, Tara O'Flaherty ’10, and Jonathan Boales ’10. The couple currently lives in Renton, Wash.
Brian Reeves ’09 and Annie Drinkward ’11 were married on July 13, 2013 in Newberg, Ore. Claire Linney '09 has been busy. Last fall, as the head coach for the Salinas High School Boy's Water Polo team, she was named MBL Coach of the Year for the second time. She is also the assistant coach of the CSUMB Women's Water Polo team and a head coach at Otter Bay Water Polo club. Out of the water she is the librarian and the athletic director at San Benancio Middle School. In the spring she was inducted into the 2014 Aptos High School Sports Hall of Fame.
John Kidde ’09 decided to do something crazy and quit his job to take a month-long internship in South Africa. From there he will circle to globe by going to Hong Kong and then meet Sean Murphy ’09 in Tokyo before heading home.

Haley Kaprielian '09 writes, "I moved to Los Angeles, Calif. in Nov. 2012 for a job as an Event Coordinator at Loyola Law School. I plan small events to multi-day conferences for students, alumni, and others in the legal field. I was previously working for the Northern California Innocence Project at Santa Clara School of Law doing marketing and development. No, I do not plan on going to law school. :)"
Leslie (Maglione) Jensen '06, J.D. '09 and her husband James welcomed their first child, Samantha May, on Jan. 17, 2014.
John Hogan MBA '09 was recognized as a "Champion of Change” by the White House for being particularly innovative and effective in answering the administration’s Youth Jobs+ challenge. The Youth Jobs+ program was created as a way to engage local elected officials, along with business and community leaders, to work together to connect young people with summer and year-round job opportunities.
The Traverse City-based law firm Dingeman & Dancer, PLC has added new attorney Matthew Hanley J.D. '09.
Hanley is a TC native, and attended Santa Clara University School of Law in California before moving back to Michigan.
He was admitted to the Illinois state bar in 2010, and to the Michigan state bar in 2012. He also has served as an extern for former Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth Weaver, and as a law clerk for employers including the U.S. Department of Justice and CafePress.
Hanley specializes in healthcare law and civil litigation including personal injury, nursing home abuse and wrongful death cases.
In February 2014, Caroline Gardner ’09 will begin as a senior tax accountant at SRI International, one of the largest contract research institutes in the world. As a nonprofit, SRI is committed to discovery and to the application of science and technology for knowledge, commerce, prosperity, and peace. In her new role, Caroline will be responsible for tax compliance issues across the US and internationally.
Chad E. Dupic ’09 and Michelle L. Pesce ’09 were married October 19, 2013, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi in Santa Fe, N.M. The couple resides in San Francisco. Chad is a CPA at BDO USA, LLP; Michelle works as a Project Manager for Genentech, Inc. Lindsay Damrow ’09 became a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch in June 2014. She will be working on the Armstrong/Eshoo Team based in Oak Brook, Ill.
Nicholas Bass ’09 was recently engaged to Helen Kelley, and celebrated 5 years with Lockheed Martin Space Systems.

Kristina Arntz ’09 is currently attending Vanderbilt University working on an MBA in Healthcare. She has been happily dating Derek Brown '09 for the past 5 years.
