In Memoriam

Longtime SCU employee Cheryl Silver passed away on April 27 after a battle with cancer. She was hired at the University in 1971, when she worked for the Economics Department. Several years later she left SCU to become a stay-at-home mom. She returned to campus in 1993, working in the Food and Agribusiness Institute, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Provost’s Office, and Human Resources. She is survived by her husband, Allan, and daughters Kristin ’03 and Ginny ’07.
