Kathy Carr Stephens ’97, husband Jeff, and 3-year-old-daughter, Chloe, welcomed baby brother Clayton Michael on June 1, 2014. He was 6 pounds, 14 ounces and 19.5 inches long. The family resides in Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Karl Schweikert MBA ’97 received his JD from UOP McGeorge and is now practicing aviation and state administrative law in Sacramento for Churchwell White LLP.
Guisselle Nuñez ’97 is now director, External Affairs, KQED Silicon Valley. She's responsible for developing and executing KQED’s strategic engagement and communication initiatives in Silicon Valley. She will still continue to teach marketing courses at the University of Phoenix and volunteer as a mentor, startup/small-business marketing consultant, and more.
Kristi Martinez ’97, Chad O'Hara and daughter Sabine welcomed baby girl Deryn Josie O'Hara on August 18. The family lives in San Carlos.
Kim Gibbons MBA ’97 joined technology start-up NetNumber as its Chief Marketing Officer in November 2013. Kim lives with her family in Sunnyvale, Calif.
Vijay (Jay) Daftary ’97 and his wife Tara welcomed a baby boy, Neal, on Feb. 8, 2013. The family lives in Reno, Nev.
David Blanar '97 writes, "Hallo from England! I recently wrapped up an MA in Systematic Theology & Philosophy from the University of Nottingham—yep, you read that right. Really enjoyable work, it brought back lots of memories and made me all the more grateful for Fr. Tollini's lectures. Much love from overseas!"
P. J. Vaughn '92, '98 is now living in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She works for Chevron as the general manager of the Buenos Aires Shared Services Center.
Josh Hicks ’95, J.D. ’98 is a new shareholder at Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck, a firm practicing in the areas of real estate, natural resources, public policy, corporate, and litigation. Hicks is a member of the firm’s government relations department and taxation group. His tax practice focuses on Nevada state and local tax matters, ranging from tax planning to litigated tax controversies. Hicks’ government affairs practice focuses on representation before the Nevada Legislature, local governments and state government agencies. In addition, Hicks practices in all aspects of Nevada campaign finance and election law, including all aspects of ballot initiatives.

Jeffrey ’99 and Sarah Tarantino welcomed Edward "Teddy" Tarantino to their family on January 23, 2014. Teddy joined big sister, Katherine. Jeff also celebrated his 10th Anniversary with Erler & Kalinowski, Inc.
Sheri Lara ’99 and Ronald Lalangan were married at Mission Santa Clara on August 17. The happy couple were surrounded by their family and friends, including fellow Bronco Susan Lalangan Vaughan who served as a bridesmaid.
Eric Iwamoto ’99 and Wendy (Vu) Iwamoto ’99 welcomed a boy, James Toshiro Vu, on April 7, 2014. He joins big sister Ellie, 5. The family lives in Ladera Ranch, Calif.

Brian Thorsett ’00 is now an assistant professor at Virginia Tech University in the School for Performing Arts. Thorsett also recently performed at the prestigious Festival del Sole in Napa, Calif., in Bernstein's Trouble in Tahiti.
Linus Lau ’00 has been Chair for the Music Video, Film and Television Program at Musicians Institute since December of 2012, in addition to adjunct lecturer of Film Studies at Long Beach City College. He is also the composer of the upcoming feature "Bread and Butter," starring Bobby Moynihan of Saturday Night Live.
