Janette Ortiz '04 and her husband welcome their first child, a baby girl, born on 7/13/11.

Arthur Obolsky '04 and Caitlyn Gilley Obolsky '06 welcomed their second child, Maya Charlotte Obolsky, on July 24, 2009. She joins older sister Isabelle Alana. Arthur received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law in May 2009.

Arthur Obolsky '04 and Caitlyn Gilley Obolsky '06 welcomed their third child, a son named Adam Daniel Obolsky on May 19, 2011. His big sisters Isabelle and Maya are smitten. The family recently relocated from San Diego to Berkeley, and maintain a thriving law practice in both Tax Disputes and Consumer Protection laws. Patrick McBride '04 married Monique Bueltel on October 29, 2010, at Balboa Park in San Diego. Groomsmen included Panch Romero '04, Dan Vincenzi '04, and Anthony Rea '04. The couple resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Francisco Lobato '04, M.S. '06 and Elsa Jacobo '05 welcomed their first daughter, Monica Lobato-Jacobo, on January 4, 2010. She was 6 pounds, 15 ounces and 20 inches long. The family lives in San Jose, Calif.

Dan Kachmarik '04, MS Engineering '06 and Alicia (Wheeler) Kachmarik '04 welcomed their second son, Andrew "Drew" Ryan, on September 15, 2011. Older brother, Connor, is 2 and the family lives in Butte, Mont.

Shankar Iyer MBA '94 is the new Vice President of Product Management and Receiver and End-user Services for Citrix Systems. Iyer will drive product strategy for personal cloud and end-user services with Citrix Receiver(TM), enabling anytime access to virtual desktops and applications from any device. Iyer comes to Citrix from the WebEx division of Cisco, where he led the formation of a Cloud Applications business unit focused on next-generation SaaS and cloud applications for large and small enterprises. Prior to its acquisition by Cisco, Iyer was vice president of products and new business initiatives at WebEx, charged with expanding new business opportunities for the next-generation WebEx platform. Prior to Cisco, he served as executive vice president, products and marketing for GemStone Systems (recently acquired by VMware) and before that, VP of products and strategy at TIBCO Software. Iyer received a M.B.A. from Santa Clara University, a M.S. in mechanical engineering from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Technology in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai.

Erin Gay '04, MA '11 married Eric Hulderson on June 4, 2011. The wedding was held at Radonich Ranch in Los Gatos, CA. Rev. Aimee Moiso, Santa Clara Director of Ecumenical and Interfaith Ministries, presided over the ceremony. Other broncos in attendance included Katie Delor Childers, Torri Granger, Katie Gottlieb, Veronia Murphy, Ellen Peterson, Courtney Peterson Nilsson, Paul Nilsson, Scott Peterson, Jessica Gagnon, Anne Volz, Chris Madruga, Annie Colbeck, Victoria Reyes and Mike Theoharis.

Lisa Hickey '04 was named principal at Juana Briones Elementary School in Palo Alto. Hickey has served as an elementary school principal in Cupertino Union School District since 2005. Most recently, she was principal at Meyerholz School, directing both a neighborhood population and a Mandarin immersion program.

Lucas Herrera '04 and Bree Horvath '05 were married at Mission Santa Clara on June 28th, 2009 by Father Paul Fitzgerald. The wedding party included fellow Santa Clara alumni Nicole Horvath '97, Megan (Horvath) DeMartini '01, Leslie Osborne '05, Jessica (Ballweg) Perkin '05, Annie Rainero '05, Brandon Butcher '05, Nick Mullen '04, Mike Baranick '04, Tyler Green '04, Colin Harrigan '04.

Colin Harter '04 and wife Laura (Del Santo) '04 welcome their first child, Charlotte Rebecca Harter, on July 28. The family lives in San Francisco.

Ron Hansen M.A. ’95, M.Div. ’04 is this year’s recipient of the Evil Companions Award, which honors a writer who hails from the West or writes about it. Hansen is an Omaha native who teaches literature at Santa Clara University. He has earned numerous honors in his four decades as a novelist, essayist and short-story writer, including the status of creating one of the longer and more intriguing titles in contemporary fiction: The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.

Stacy Hartman '04 and Sean Greenwood were married on September 19, 2009 at Bianchi Winery in Paso Robles, California. In the wedding party: Alicia (Wheeler) Kachmarik '04, Katie Carlson '03, and Dina Salicido '04. Stacy currently works at Google as an Associate Manager in Online Sales and Sean, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo grad, is a Project Engineer at Critchfield Mechanical. The newlyweds reside in San Jose.

Tyler Green '04 and Meghan (Hanratty) Green '04 are happy to announce the birth of their first child, Gavin Michael Green, on July 20, 2011. The family lives in Bellevue, Wash.

Bryce Davidson '04 has joined the staff of Davidson Insurance in Vancouver, Washington. He previously worked as a Manager at Ernst and Young in San Francisco for nearly eight years.

Michelle E. Curtis '04 J.D. '08 and Joseph Harris, Jr. were married on July 28, 2012 in Tiburon, Calif. The couple resides in San Francisco and St. Helena.

Lindsey Cromwell '04, MBA '09 and Matthew Kalkbrenner '04, MSME '06 were married on September 12, 2009 in Honolulu, Hawaii. The bridal party included Adriana (Navarro) Alfaro '04, Sarah Tarpley '05, Aimee (Grush) David '03, Mark Kalkbrenner '04, and Scott Gunther '04. The couple lives in Santa Clara. Lindsey is the Sustainability Coordinator for SCU and Matt is a Systems Engineer at Lockheed-Martin.

Craig Corica '04 and Melissa (Meek) Corica '04, J.D. '08 welcomed their first child, Logan Michael Corica. He was born on April 17, 2011 and weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces. The family resides in Alameda, Calif.
