Jacey Prupas ’01, J.D. ’04, an associate in the Reno office of Snell & Wilmer, has been appointed to the Nevada Board of Bar Examiners. Her three-year term began in April. She previously served as a Nevada Bar Exam Grader from 2006 to 2008.
Prupas focuses her practice in general commercial litigation. She has experience with all stages of litigation, including pretrial discovery, trial, appellate work and alternative dispute resolution. Prupas’ practice includes representing businesses in all types of contract disputes, complex tort actions and product liability matters. She also has extensive experience with personal injury actions, both for plaintiffs and defendants.
Prupas received both her undergraduate and law degrees from Santa Clara University. Also licensed in California, she is a member of the American Bar Association and the Northern Nevada Women’s Lawyer’s Association, for which she served as a board member from 2005 to 2011. She has been recognized for several years as a Nevada Super Lawyers Rising Star.
Sarah (Naumes) Primerano '01 and her husband, Kevin, welcomed the birth of thier second son, Giovanni Rei on May 6th 2010. The family including big brother Rocco (2) resides in Medford, Oregon. Sarah is the general manager for Naumes' Oregon Motorsports.
Mike Paye '01 and April (Valenzuela) Paye '00 welcomed their second child on Feb. 27. Killian Cooper Paye was born at home in Santa Clara and was quickly greeted by his older sister Maricela and his uncle Matthew Paye '06. Killian weighed in at 9 lbs 4 oz--a big future bronco! Mike works for a start-up construction company in Palo Alto, and April is a stay-at-home mom.
Joanne Pasternack-Bardin JD '99 and Robert Bardin MBA' 01, and their daughter, Kira (age 2) are thrilled to announce the arrival of Reid Oliver Bardin. Reid was born on November 17, 2009 at 8:36 PM at a substantial 9 pounds, 5 ounces and 21.5" with red hair and blue eyes. Joanne and Rob both work in sports - Joanne is the community relations director for the San Francisco 49ers and Rob is the corporate partnership director for FC Gold Pride of the Women's Professional Soccer league. They live in Sunnyvale, Calif.

Meghan Oliveri '01 writes: "My husband Matt and I are both attoneys in Contra Costa County (Walnut Creek and San Ramon, respectively), where we live in Danville with our family. We welcomed our first niece this year with her parents -- Katy and Matt Tuttle (both SCU Class of 2005)."
Karin Olefsky Hargrove '01 and Thomas Hargrove '01 welcomed their second son, Sam Jacob Hargrove, on March 1, 2010.

Brendan O’Brien ’01 and Lauren (Russell) O’Brien ’02 welcomed their second boy Declan Charles on April 5, 2013. The family, with their oldest son Liam and dog Burger, currently live in Burlingame, Calif.

Janelle (Martinez) Morgan '01 and her husband, Bodie Morgan, welcomed a baby girl, Victoria Rose, on August 4, 2009. She joins big brother Luke Tyler, age 3. The family lives in Sacramento. Janelle recently passed the first of 2 exams for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She is currently studying for the second exam.

Reed Dudley '01 and Aaron Moll were married at the Reynolds Plantation golf club in Georgia on June 4, 2011. The bridal party included Megan (Berry) Goren '01. Other alumni in attendance were Kristen (Pederson) Phillips '01, Viviana (Padilla) Faga '01, Erin Hovi '01, Sarah (Barr) Stone '01, Hadley VanVactor '01, Alyssa (Mack) Stone '01, and Ryan Joy '01. The newlyweds live in San Francisco.
Juliet (Lopez) Miller '01 graduated with an M.A. in educational leadership from the UC Sacramento in May 2008. She and husband Steven welcomed their first child, Jonas Bear, in October 2008. She is on leave from her job as a fifth grade teacher to care for her son. The family lives in El Dorado Hills, Calif.

Meagan McNally '01 married Keith Ramsey, cousin of Fr. Paul Soukup, S.J. (who presided over the ceremony) on August 28, 2010. The bridal party included Nicole Messian-Sparr '01, and in attendance were Brian Sweeny '01, Neil Vachani '00, Brian Sparr '00, Molly Healy J.D. '09, Robert Healy '07, Joe Mauch '99, and Matt Heinzler '11. Meagan is pursuing a Masters in Social Work at UCLA.
Kevin McDonough '01 married Patti Vetter on April 18 in Philadelphia. The wedding party included Tim McDonough '03, Chris Helin, Zach Young, Brad Harrington, Kevin Holmes, and Ryan McKay '03. Additional Broncos in attendance included Jose Speede and Keith Candau '03. Kevin and Patti live in Atlanta.
Kevin McDonough '01 recently joined Atlanta-based Blue Giraffe Sports as its VP of Sales and Marketing. McDonough will be responsible for developing corporate partnerships for Blue Giraffe athletes, focusing primarily on their professional golfers.
Carrie (Lawler) McCullagh '01 and Marc McCullagh '01 welcomed the birth of their second daughter, Madeline Patricia on February 27, 2010. The family, including big sister Anna (2 1/2), resides in Portland, Oregon.

Sean Magann MBA ’01 was promoted to vice president of sales and marketing at Sims Recycling Solutions.
Magann joined the company in May 2011 and formerly held the position of commercial director, North America. Magann will be responsible for advancing all commercial activities for Sims Recycling Solutions in the United States, which includes leading both national and regional sales efforts. He will also manage marketing initiatives that favorably position the company’s services in the marketplace.
