Rachel (Bell) '92 and Kevin Melia '91 announce the birth of daughter Nicole Mary on July 28, 2008. Nicole joins big brother, Nathan, 3. Rachel is a self-employed marketing consultant. Kevin works for Storm Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm in Menlo Park. The family lives in Los Altos.
Matt Maese '92 married Darcy Yaley (UND '96) on August 28, 1999. Marriage Convalidation at St. Simon Parish July 28, 2012.
Bob Lewis '92 is Sr. Director Business Development at Concur Technologies, Inc. He and his wife Krista live in Redmond, Wash., with their daughter Addison, age 6 1/2 and son Spencer, age 5.
Joseph Bo Katzakian '92 has opened a private law practice in the Santa Clara valley, serving the entire south Bay Area region.

Michael R. Johnson ’92, M.A. ’93 has been hired as the new Middle School Principal at Escuela Campo Alegre, an international school in Caracas, Venezuela. He will be moving to Caracas in August along with his wife Christina, daughter Danielle (9), and son Derek (6). Mike is currently assistant principal at Carmichael Middle School in Richland, WA.
Michele Hales J.D. '92 is the managing partner at Hales & Hales, a San Jose Familly Law Firm, with offices in both Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. She is the President of the Board of Directors of Emmaus House, a domestic violence shelter in San Benito County, and is Vice President of the Baler Backers Athletic Organization, a nonprofit group which provides funding to the Athletic Department of San Benito High School. Michele and her husband Chris live in Hollister, Calif. with their three very active children.
Kyle Guse J.D. '92 joined Baker Botts LLP as a partner in the firm's Palo Alto office.
Guse has completed more than 100 public offerings and M&A transactions for clients that include venture capital funds and investment banks in the life sciences, technology and clean-tech sectors. He has focused much of his practice on counseling rapidly growing companies through public offerings and mergers and acquisitions.
He has been recognized by Legal 500 as a leading lawyer in his field of practice. Prior to joining Baker Botts, he was a partner in the Silicon Valley office of McDermott Will & Emery LLP.
Joseph Anthony Flynn '92 was named one of Silicon Valley’s 50 most influential Irish-American people in the tech world in 2012 by the Irish Technology Leadership Group.
Flynn is the CEO and co-founder of the fast-growing Lavante, Inc., a profit recovery and supplier information management company.
In 2009, Flynn received recognition as one of the 40 leading executives under the age of 40 by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Flynn serves on the board of directors of Work2Future, the Silicon Valley Workers Investment Board. He is both a member at large as well as the chairman of the finance committee.
Nick Fedeli and Lisa (Kellers) Fedeli '92 welcomed son Nicholas IV on Oct. 7, 2008. They live in Reno, Nev., where Nick works as an accountant and Lisa teaches Irish dance.
Mark D. Emerson '92 earned his MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington in June 2011. He was recently promoted to Financial Controller of COMPA Industries, Inc.
Constance M. Dixon-Sorogane M.A. '92 is co-editor/co-author an educational binder, Hands Helping Hands, for social skills, making it more applicable to use for special education students, for the Alameda County Office of Education.
Michel Courtoy MBA ‘92, an experienced EDA executive and angel investor, has joined the Zocalo Tech, Inc, an Austin, Texas electronic design automation company’s Board of Directors. Courtoy began his career in design engineering and software engineering at Intel. He managed product marketing for layout verification software at Cadence Design Systems and held executive positions at Quickturn Design Systems, Osprey Design Systems (which he also co-founded), Aptix Corporation and Frequency Technology. As vice president of marketing for Silicon Perspective, Courtoy created the market for silicon virtual prototyping and was a key player in the company's acquisition by Cadence in 2001. He served as a vice president at Cadence Design Systems before becoming the CEO at Certess. He led Certess through sales growth to a successful acquisition by SpringSoft in 2009. He also is a member of the Board of Directors of Edxact, DeFacTo and X5 Systems. He holds a BSEE from Université Catholique de Louvain, Belgium; an MSEE from University of California, San Diego; and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
Simon Chiu '92 was elected to serve on the Executive Committee of the National Catholic Education Association, representing Catholic high schools in California, Nevada, Hawaii and Guam at the national level. He will be responsible for: continued leadership in the ministry of Catholic secondary education, communicating NCEA goals with other Catholic educators and leading regional meetings of Catholic educators and principals in the West.

Jenny Lynn (Elmore) Campbell '92 and Gabriel '00 welcomed their new baby boy, Gianni Marcel, on Jan. 6, 2012. All three recently moved back to San Diego.
Steve Calde and Karin (Bullis) Calde '92 announce the adoption of daughter Lula Tarikie from Ethiopia. She joins big brothers Jack, 7, and Finn, 4. The family lives in the Portland area. Steve is principal interaction designer for Cooper, and Karin is working on her dissertation in clinical psychology.
Dr. Jennifer D. Dunn-Buhrfiend ’92 and husband Tim announce the birth of William Timothy Richard, Sept 29, 2010. He joins big sister Kathleen (8), Maureen (6), and Colleen (4). The family resides in Elmhurst, Ill. Jennifer practices obstetrics and gynecology in the western suburbs of Chicago.
Jenni Brandt Rowen '92 welcomed a daughter, Ivy Elizabeth, on 12/13/10. She joins older sister Hailey Lynne (9) and Dylan Michael (8).
Charlene Bellinger J.D. '92 has been appointed an Administrative Appeals Judge for the Social Security Administration.
Harald Batista MBA ’92, an entrepreneur with more than two decades of sales and marketing experience, was named to Prophecy Platinum Corporation’s board of directors.
Saleel Awsare M.S. ’92 was named vice president and general manager at Conexant Systems Inc., a leading supplier of innovative semiconductor solutions for imaging, audio, embedded modem, and video surveillance applications. With more than 25 years experience, he will head its audio, embedded modem, and fax businesses.
Prior, Awsare served as president of Nuvoton’s U.S. operations and general manager of the company’s audio and voice divisions. He has five patents and has written for multiple publications.
