The Western New York Flash has signed Katherine Reynolds ’10 to its National Women’s Soccer League roster. Reynolds most recently played for the German club SC Freiburg.
Angela Elaine Poth ’10 and Ryan Aaron Lyles ’10 on November 9th, 2013, in Scottsdale AZ. The wedding party included Sarah Hwang ’10, Vaishali Parekh '11, Kellie Quist '10, Nicole Murai '11, Benito Van Anda '10, Patrick Boocock '10, Michael Ford '09, Jordan Fujimoto '11, and Kevin Talebbeik '11. The newlyweds live in Morgan Hill, Calif.
Tommy Medica ’10 is in his third professional season with the Padres. Last year, Medica hit .330 for Single-A Lake Elsinore with 19 homers and 87 RBIs in 93 games.
While playing for Santa Clara, Medica suffered a devastating injury that dislocated the shoulder of his throwing arm when he was sliding into second base. “Eventually, my goal is to catch again,” Medica recently told the San Diego Union-Tribune. “If I can throw well enough to catch again, my chances are going to get a lot better. It’d be huge. And my arm feels 10 times stronger than it did last year.”
Alyssa Savage '10 married Paul Hiu (Macquarie Uni, Sydney) on April 6, 2013 in beautiful Tiburon, California surrounded by 100 close friends and family. Alyssa and Paul met in 2008 when she was studying abroad in Sydney. Alyssa and Paul both live happily in Australia with Paul working as a chiropractor and Alyssa as a graphic designer. Jenna Torosian Fabino '10 accepted a client-management position with FindTheBest.com, an unbiased, data-driven comparison site. The start-up Internet company is based in Santa Barbara, CA, where she is currently living with her husband.
Sarah R. Cafasso ’10 completed a two-year Peace Corps service in October. She served as an Environment volunteer in rural Philippines where she promoted marine conservation and sustainability. She now works at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in San Francisco, where she is a Community Involvement Coordinator in the Region 9 Superfund Division.
Christian Max '11 is in China studying Mandarin and working with new American students. He has received high marks on his Level 5 (out of 7) examinations. He now speaks five languages.
Paul Kosloski '11 recently finished a year of service in Anchorage, Alaska, with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest. He served at Bean's Café Day Shelter and then Karluk Manor Housing First. Both service placements involved support and companionship for people experiencing chronic alcoholism and chronic homelessness.

Alessandra Czamanski Silva M.A., MFT ’12 writes, "Dear Psy fellows, I recently moved to Texas! I cannot believe that I left California, but life changes directions and we don't always know why. Justine Folk '12 and Benjamin Williams '11 married on Sept. 15, 2012, in Rocklin, Calif. The wedding party included fellow Broncos Michael Kawamoto '11, Elizabeth Hatch '11, Sarah Esparza '10, and Bianca Frediani '12. The newlyweds are now living in Vacaville.
Peter Loy Chong Ph.D. ’12 is the new archbishop of Suva in Fiji. Appointed by Pope Benedict XVI, Fr. Chong, who hails from the Archdiocese of Suva, is currently in the School of Theology at Santa Clara University, a Jesuit university.
