Helen Yi '93 and James Choi were married on May 16, 2009 at Mission Santa Clara. Presided by Christopher Cartwright, S.J. and Reverend Sungho Lee. The bride was walked down the aisle by her mother and father, Mary and Peter Yi. The bridal party included Bridesmaids Mai Townsend, Jenny Hong, Karen Parker, Karen Moore and Kara Pendleton; Groomsmen CK Chang, Sung Cho, Rockson Liu, Sam Liu and Dennis Pham; Junior Bridesmaids Rosalia Costa and Victoria Costa; Flower Girls Victoria Baer, Haley Hong, Olivia Judd and Sydney Judd; Junior Groomsmen Steven Choi and Edward Choi; and Ring Bearer Thomas Choi. Over 200 guests witnessed the ceremony and the celebration continued at the Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon. The couple honeymooned in Paris and will welcome their first baby in September 2010.
Helen K. Yi '93 and husband James Choi welcomed their first child, Andrew James on August 26, 2010. Baby Andrew weighed 8 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19.5 inches long and has been smiling nonstop almost since the day he arrived. Helen and James were married on May 16, 2009 at Mission Santa Clara. Andrew's Mommy continues to serve as Vice President and General Counsel at The Matteson Companies, a Redwood City-based real estate investment, management and development company.
Chris Turner '93 and Elizabeth Horner were married at Kennolyn Hilltop Hacienda in Soquel, CA on October 16, 2010. The bridal party included Kevin Lum Lung '93, Alexei Peters '93 and Darren Filpi '94. Alumni in attendance included R. Michael Johns '93, Michael Larriva '93, John MacGregor '94, Alex Hauser '92 and Michelle (Belforte) Hauser '92. Chris currently produces the PBS television series "Independent Lens" at ITVS in San Francisco. The couple lives in Oakland, CA.

Chris Turner '93 and wife Lisa welcomed their first child, Casey Forrest, on January 25, 2012. He joins the family home in Oakland. Chris produces the independent film series Independent Lens for PBS, and Lisa is a middle school English teacher.

Alyssa (Schaeffer) Tannert '93 and Thomas Tannert '94, '99 & '04 welcomed a baby boy, Rollan Hans, on Feb. 8, at 8 lbs. 8 oz and 21 3/4 inches long. He joins big sister Larena, age 4. The family lives in San Jose.
Maureen (Cosgrove) Sullivan '93 and husband Drew welcomed a baby girl, Catherine Adele, on May 21, 2009. Catherine joins big brother Daniel, age 3. Maureen is a freelance writer and editor. The family lives in Overland Park, KS.
Patricia L. Sullivan '93 is an assistant professor of international relations in the Department of Public Policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her book, Who Wins? Predicting Strategic Success and Failure in Armed Conflict, was published by Oxford University Press in July 2012.

Anissa Slifer '93 and her husband Brooks Bernardo welcomed the birth of their first child, Taylor, almost a year ago on October 25, 2010. They currently live in Knoxville, TN where Anissa is working as a physician.
Katie Gough Sacco '93 and Mark Sacco '92 announce the birth of their third child, Wyatt Christopher Sacco. Wyatt joins big sister Lucy and big brother Owen at home in Alameda, Calif.
Kristin (Busch) Raczykowski '93 and husband Dan became the proud parents of twins, Tyler Joseph and Lexi Marie, on June 18, 2011. The family lives in Spokane, Wash.
Mark Pitchford MBA ’93 was named managing director of sales and service at Esurance, the direct-to-consumer personal car insurance company. Pitchford will be based at the San Francisco headquarters.
Pitchford joined Esurance from Allstate, where he was senior vice president of direct sales and service. Prior to Allstate, Pitchford held senior marketing, sales, and customer service positions at Hanaro Telecom and Hanaro Media (in South Korea), Qwest Communications, and AT&T.

Kevin M. Miller MBA '93 was promoted to Vice President of National Sales at INSULECTRO. INSULECTRO is the leading supplier of advanced engineered materials used to fabricate complex multilayer printed circuits boards (PCB) and other electronic interconnect system.

Thomas P. McCracken JD ’93 was appointed Vice President of Intellectual Property at MAP Pharmaceuticals. McCracken has extensive legal experience within the healthcare industry. Most recently, he was Vice President and Chief Patent Counsel at Durect Corporation, where he was responsible for management, development and creation of all intellectual property assets. He was previously with PowderJect Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for managing IP assets and services across all research and development functions of the company, including vaccines, biopharmaceuticals and medical devices. Prior to PowderJect, Mr. McCracken was in private patent law practice and specialized in the areas of pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, biomedical engineering and medical devices. His knowledge of the biotechnology field is further supplemented with several years of technical experience in research and development at privately held biopharmaceutical companies, including research activities at the Research Institute of Scripps Clinic. McCracken holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of California, San Diego and a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law. He is registered to practice with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Patricia (Aquino) Magolske '93 and husband John Magolske—a daughter, Stella Rose, on Jan. 5, 2013. The family resides in San Francisco.
Brian T. Leonard ’93, an attorney with Palumbo Wolfe & Palumbo, is included on the 2012 Southwest Rising Stars list in Super Lawyers magazine. The peer-reviewed listing is reserved for just 2.5 percent of lawyers in each state who are 40 years old or younger and who have practiced law for 10 years or less.
Leonard joined the Phoenix-based accident and personal injury law firm in 2007, following six years of working in the practice area with his father. He is a member of various professional organizations, including the Maricopa County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Arizona, the American Association for Justice and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
Kim (Sheldahl) Leane '93 and her husband, Brigham, welcomed baby Kayla Garnett Leane on May 28, 2009. Her older sisters, Emily and Chloe, think she's pretty special. The family lives in Grand Junction, Colo.
Bob Krakauer ’88, MBA ’93 has been appointed executive vice president and chief financial officer for Aspect Software, a leading provider of customer contact, enterprise workforce optimization, and Microsoft platform solutions. Playing a key role on the management team, Krakauer will provide strategic financial direction to the company.
Jeff Kisling '93 M.A. has received his Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Health Psychology. Jeff has a private psychotherapy practice in Los Altos, where he specializes in sexuality and health concerns. He lives in Palo Alto.
