|79||Mark Hurtubise M.A. is president and chief executive officer of Foundation Northwest, a community foundation that serves eastern Washington and northern Idaho. Mark previously was president of Argosy University in Seattle, Mount Marty College in South Dakota, and Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe.|
|81||Elena J. Agostino MBA retired from Applied Materials Inc. and is now a volunteer for various nonprofit organizations.|
Joseph Cavanagh M.S. is having his second book, Sequential Logic: Analysis and Synthesis, published by CRC Press. He previously authored Digital Computer Arithmetic: Design and Implementation, which was published by McGraw-Hill.
William J. Monahan J.D. was elected judge of the Santa Clara County Superior Court. He received more than 51 percent of the vote in a three-person race. His term will start in January.
Edwin Stafford MBA is an associate professor of marketing at Utah State University. His research on “green marketing myopia” was recently profiled in the New York Times Magazine.
Rev. Basil G. Royston graduated from the Graduate Theological Union at the San Francisco Theological Seminary in May with a doctor of ministry degree.
|93||Xavier Romano M.A., dean of students and vice president for student development at Knox College in Galesburg, Ill., has been selected as the 2006 Outstanding Senior Student Affairs Officer by the Latino Knowledge Community of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators. Xavier has been the senior student affairs administrator at Knox since 1998. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon and a master’s degree at SCU, and is pursuing a doctorate at the University of San Francisco. He also is a Fulbright Scholar and has studied at Harvard University’s Institute for Higher Education.|
|96||Melissa M. Mulkey J.D. is a member in McGlinchey Stafford’s Baton Rouge law office, where she represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. She started her career practicing with a law firm in Philadelphia and Los Angeles. She is licensed to practice law in California, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey.|
