Kevin P. Quinn, S.J., joined the Ignatian Center in 2006 and the law faculty in 2007, arriving from Georgetown University where he was a law professor and faculty affiliate of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.
His legal scholarship is primarily in health care ethics and he has published book chapters and journal pieces on issues of contemporary culture, bioethics, and genetics.
Father Quinn entered the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) in 1973. He was ordained a Roman Catholic priest in 1985. He is a graduate of Fordham University and holds advanced degrees in theology from the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley. He received his law degree and Ph.D. (in jurisprudence and social policy) from UC Berkeley.
