Community makes the difference for marketing major Tricia Bryant

Originally from Dallas, Tricia Bryant has found a home away from home in the Communitas Residential Learning Community.

Residential Learning Communities at Santa Clara are a key component of the undergraduate experience. Through loosely themed groups, the RLCs help students find study partners, learning experiences, clubs and activities, and friends. Communitas is a group focused on issues of individuality, community, and citizenship.

Bryant says living in the Communitas RLC has helped her find her path at Santa Clara. "Our RLC is the perfect mix of social and studious. And, because of the size, we really form a tight-knit community," she says.

She also says the housing facility is top-notch. "The building also got redone before I arrived, which was an added bonus: Whoever heard of granite countertops in a dorm room?"
