Assistant Professor, Bioengineering Program
Prof. Kim is an Assistant Professor at Santa Clara University where she serves as the Director of the Biological Microtechnology Laboratory. Professor Kim is a mechanical engineer by training with an emphasis on the integrated microfluidic systems for biotechnologies. She graduated from University of California, Santa Barbara with her Ph.D. and Certificate in College and University Teaching (CCUT) in 2009 and joined the Bioengineering faculty at Santa Clara University in 2009. Dr. Christopher Kitts is an Associate Professor at Santa Clara University where he serves as the Director of the Robotic Systems Laboratory. He is also the Director of the Center for Robotic Exploration and Space Technologies, a multi-institution consortium or academic institutions focusing on aerospace research and education and which is located at the NASA Ames Research Park. In addition, he holds an Associate Researcher appointment at the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute, in conjunction with whom he and his students develop several advanced marine robotic systems. Dr. Kitts is also the Mission Operations Director for a series of NASA small spacecraft, which are controlled on-orbit by students in the Robotic Systems Laboratory. Read the full profile »
Hohyun Lee
Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering
Dr. Hohyun Lee has joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Santa Clara University in 2009. Dr. Lee received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at MIT in 2009. He is interested in heat transfer mechanisms in nanoscale, and therefore engineering thermal properties of nanomaterials for the purpose of energy harvest. Read the full profile »
