Larry HamblyAdvisory Board MemberLarry Hambly spent 20 years at Sun Microsystems where he
was one of Sun’s first 100 employees. In
his last position he served for six years as Executive Vice President of
Enterprise Services where he was responsible for all of Sun's consulting,
training, and support services worldwide. This was a high growth,
profitable business with $3.5 Billion in revenues and over 13,000
employees. Previously, Larry was Vice
President of Marketing for Sun's computer systems division. In this role, he
was in charge of developing worldwide product and marketing strategies for
Sun's $4 Billion network computing systems business. Prior to that, he served
for two years as President of Sun Microsystems Federal overseeing the
penetration of Sun products into government markets worldwide. In his first
position at Sun Larry founded the Western Area Sales Organization and grew
revenues from $3 Million to $260 Million.
For ten years, Larry was in Sun's Executive Management Group which set
Sun’s product and business strategies worldwide. He was Sun’s Corporate Quality Officer for
three years. Before joining Sun, Larry served in field sales, sales management, and engineering positions with
Symbolics, Data General, General Research, Logicon, and Rockwell International. He holds a bachelor’s degree in physics from Larry Hambly Biography Larry Hambly was most recently Executive Vice President of
